Laura has ben teaching swimming for 5 years. She first became a swimming teacher because she was encouraged by her local swimming club, where she had swum competitively, to mentor and teach the younger kids in the club. She originally taught in the Southern Highlands, where she grew up, before moving to the Sutherland Shire. Laura thinks swimming is one of the most important life skills a child or adult can learn as we are constantly surrounded by water. She loves to see the progress her students make, and how confident they become. She is always very proud when a child achieves their goals.
