What to do at Starting Blocks, special thanks to Covid 19...
Entry: Entry will be via the main door. You may exit via the main door or by the Fire escape door.
Capacity: Our maximum number of people allowed onsite based on 1 person per 4 square meters is 116 Persons. We have capacity for individual rooms listed at the entry to those rooms.
Parents: We are limiting to 1 parent/carer per family group.
Teacher Contact:
Bubs format will have no teacher contact, teachers to instruct parents/carers during class.
Levels 1 to 3 Full Contact is permissible ( and necessary for safety ) under the June 13 lifting of restrictions.
Levels 4 to 6 will have a teacher in the water with minimal contact.
Squads will continue with no contact teaching.
Toilets are still available.
Showers and Changing: The showers will remain closed until the next review, change benches for bubs will be available and sanitised after each use. Please place a towel between the mat and your little person. Swimmers are encouraged to enter the building ready to swim, and exit in their towel to avoid getting changed.
Viewers: Please limit to 1 parent/carer per family group. Level 6 and squad swimmers are encouraged to be dropped off and picked up after class.
Sanitiser: An extra hand sanitiser has been placed at the entry. There is a hand sanitiser in the lower waitroom. Of course there are 2 very large bowls of full body sanitiser for the swimmers to swim in.
Contact tracing:
We are required to keep a record of all that enter the building. Please use the service NSW app to check in on entry.
Equipment: Other than kickboards and pools noodles is strictly BYO.
Swimmers must bring their own goggles, swim cap, towel, (and fins for the squad swimmers).
We will prefer contactless payments in the office.
